Well, it's not really like I felt absolutely nothing. It was certainly 40-odd minutes of intensity. But I really had no attachment to the characters.

I guess it helped that I knew Glenn's death was coming, and I didn't really like anything about Abraham. I kinda felt Abe's death was coming since last seasons' change in him. All of that relationship stuff and him maybe wanting kids was just screaming, "Kill me." And I was sick of him before that. Spoilers or not, there wasn't much shock.

I will give the show credit (which I never do).

Last season I was complaining about the cliffhanger because I was afraid they didn't have the guts to graphically kill a fan favorite or they would puss out and just kill Abraham or Eugene.

This episode was downright trolling the fans. The writers knew what our complaints were and they addressed them. As soon as Abraham died we were all "that's a cop out" and then they killed Glenn anyways and they made it as f*cked up and violent as could be.

Touché writers. Touché. So for this one episode I'm not complaining.
