I really liked the character in last night's episode. Walking Dead constantly brings in wave after wave of annoying characters but I think this is the first person I've liked since Herschel (well maybe Tyreese). And I was expecting not to like this guy.

I loved that scene with him and Carol (I sense sparks) where he leveled with her. The main group, Alexandria, Hilltop Colony, Woodbury, the Saviors, the Wolves...everybody else in the zombie apocalypse is kind of depressing. But Zeke livens things up. So far his Kingdom seems like the only place worth living. For a guy who calls himself a king I liked how compassionate and fatherly he was. I'd play along with his king shtick because so far it seems to be working...his people seem happy but they don't seem naive like the dorks back in Alexandria. Plus you get to see a tiger and eat fruit cobbler everyday.

My only thought is that with Glenn gone, Zeke becomes the new moral center of the show.
