There seems to be some behind the scenes turmoil over Kim Dickens departure similar to that of Laurie Holden over on WD. Laurie was told she would be there for at least the first seven seasons then dropped without explanation. My guess is something like that happened with Dickens and she was not happy. If you watched her departure episode Madison hardly appears while Alicia and strand give the exposition and Dickens face and demeanor on the Talking Dead says more than her words. I suppose there is a chance she could still show up alive given the oblique ending but really a long shot. I think Lincoln leaving the show has to do with money like Lauren Cohan along with family time.

I'm sure Lincoln has plenty of money. I think putting his family in a situation for 8 years where he primarily lived in the states most of the year and they lived in the UK was stressful on the marriage.

I am sure family issues were the key factor though IF what I have seen is correct. Andy was not offered a new(or maybe better) contract beyond this season. Like Cohan he was contracted through six episodes though they must have come to some understanding for the rest of the season unless his last story happens shockingly early. He talked about filming his last episode but I do not know if that means the whole season is ready or just his story. Where there is smoke there is usually money. \:\-
