Yeah- Both are big NOs on my list. The first episode was boring. The group of bad ass military that seems to be running through all three shows wants to be intriguing but looks like more of the same with military weapons.
The colored book just seems a waste to me. RK conceived and executed as a black& white and I think it looks best in that format. More power to him if it works well.

I feel like World Beyond is a way to explore the Civic Republic Military (CRM) without having to take time away from the other shows. I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not.
I have a feeling that Huck is Elizabeth's daughter. At the end of the first episode, Elizabeth is told there's no sign of "her," leaving it ambiguous who is being referred to. Obviously, the implication is they're talking about Iris, since Elizabeth gave her the map earlier, but it could also refer to Hope or Huck. In the second episode, Huck said something about being a different person outside the walls vs inside the walls. That's something that has been stated before by others, but in this case, perhaps she has to pretend to be someone she's not. Maybe I'm wrong.
