Previous Post I may have found a new shop. YEAH!!! Anyway, i do not like that these BN are not self-contained stories. There should have been a clear beginning-middle-end...and then another storylinebe completed in the main BN book. #3 was good, it just seemed incomplete..a set-up for something (that I will not be buying with my money). The lasso working with the ring was quite nice. I think that the situation with Mera has something to do with her son or with Aquaman. But then again, I don't really care. This is WW's book. Maybe they are trying to establish another female friendship for Diana? She sure ain't gonna have one with Power Girl!! And the big question: is any of this kiss/love for Bruce going to be followed up on when he does return?!?!?!?

Well, I ain't got it yet, but sounds like I'm not missing out either. I'll put some thoughts in here, just for the heck of it.

Mera--All I remember is that at some point she went be-crazy and sometimes wonder if she still is to a degree. Or was all that retconned I never kept up with Aquaman. So I'm sure there all kind of rage pent up in her. Mera, IIRC, was always a grudge holder.

Lasso--I seem to recall a story or two that has basically said if the person who is lassoed isn't totally freaked out, they can use it "against" Diana also. It's kind of a two-way street deal. Hokey, yes, but what else is new?

I agree, tho. I thought either these "minis" were either stand alones or a part of something bigger, but it sounds like it's neither...just another means for DC to milk the dead cow
