What didn't you like about the WW video? IT wasn't perfect by a long shot. But that opening scene...gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.

I think a ot of it for me was simple stuff that, to the common public, would still be "canon" in their minds. Steve Trevor, while sexually humorous, was a bit overkill for me. Yes yes yes, I know visual media is what sticks in people's heads the most, but as an avid comic reader, Steve, to me, is so not even a hell of a chance romance interest for Diana anymore. And Ares...I think if they would have gone with the "classic" Perez look (the armor and helmet) I would have been more interested. Instead I have to deal with some old looking dude that I just cannot see as the God of War. I guess it just reminded me too much of Hercules And Xena:The Battle For Mount Olympus (which I can just pop in the VCR at any time) Petty things to most, but it matters to me. For all the work that has gone into Diana in the comics over the last few decades, where do we always end up in tv land....
Anyhow, I'm gonna try to stomach my way thru the rest of it (loves me the Artie!) this weekend and see if it gets any better for me. I'm TRYING to keep an open mind.
The opening scene...it was ok. I'm just tired of seeing her origin redone so many times. I guess in part because it always begs that darn question of "Do I really exist or am I a golem" that George answered way back in issue 1, 14, etc etc.
