This happened during the Joe Kelly run on the Justice League, waaaaaaay back when. Bruce and Diana were developing something of a romantic relationship. Obviously it didn't work out, but what did/do you guys think about it? Thinking about it now, I really don't care for it, mostly because I don't care for Bruce being part of the Justice League, or pulling around with superheroes.

I remember it and I wish I'd forget it. It wasn't a very good story because it didn't make sense. Even back then, the characters had been around for at least 63 years. Not one sign, iota or otherwise that they showed ANY romantic interest in each other before Joe Kelly. And then right out of left field, BAM, Batman suddenly loves Wonder Woman?! Bullcrap I say! There was ZERO build up to such a romance, NO indication Bruce was attracted to Diana before Joe Kelly took over writing duties, nothing. Now all of a sudden Batman is in love with her?

And then the Justice League cartoon HAD to do the romance too! *Sigh*

I don't know what was worse. The romance itself or a lot of fans across the net, including on this very board, LOVING every minute of it. Batman and Wonder Woman are as different as night and day. Their personalities are so different, I can't imagine why either one would even find the other attractive other than on the surface. Outside of fighting crime, a sense of justice and all that, they have NOTHING in common. That relationship was doomed from start.

Now, Superman and Wonder Woman makes much better sense. Ironically, most fans hated it. To this day, I still don't understand why even though I've read their attempts to explain it. At least that romance was better suited for them than Batman and Wonder Woman...

Also, does Diana currently know Batman's secret identity? If so, when and how did she find out? Did she know Pre-Crisis as well? Thanks.

Yes, she knows. I missed a lot of the New 52, so I don't know when and how she found out.

It's interesting that a hero/villain performs one amazing feat, or use a power they haven't used for 20+ years, and that automatically propels them to a high status despite scans and evidence to the contrary. I don't know what is worse, selective feat picking that has only been done once or twice 20, or more, years ago or ignoring evidence from scans or the lack thereof. We need to stop putting our favorite heroes/villains on pedestals and start putting them where they really belong. But it's evident that people never will because they would rather accuse others of cherry picking feats, when they don't, and being 'morally superior' when they aren't. I guess being honest and as fair as possible only opens one up to being the target of childish accusations and fault finding by those who insist on acting petty and childish. What happened to a good debate between two civil, mature, adults?
