    Generation Hope #6:

The Lights [because its such a catchy name] fly the Blackbird [because no 'porter would get there faster] to another country with X-men liason [because its such a proven new contact protocol] to recruit a new mutant holed up in a building and threatening the public. Hmmm, where have we seen that before - oh right, just last arc.

Hello Kitty [because Marvel wants Rogue somewhere else for some reason other than Scott explains his nepetistic choice in-story].

Does ESLO mean something? [because if not a missed oppurtunity from using a known MU manufacturer name or even an old Starktech laptop].

I think it's supposed to be a takeoff on the Sony Vaio.

The 'day in the life' panel layout would have worked better if something interesting happened to [even one of] the Lights. To make it worse, Nemesis acted the condescending jerkwad. Wolverine had a totally uninspired sparring match with Animal Boy [becasue people want more Logan and we havent seen this since - oh right, just last arc]. Miss Whotheheckisthatmaybeacuckoo operating Cerebra [because its probably a routine of vigilance]. Kenji doing his psycho artwork for who knows why/what [because readers dont want a tidbit tease of what was on the canvas with a red alert on] - didnt even register that there is techno aspect to his power if not for the Recap Page.

Okay, the Hope/Speed Boy exchange was cute.

Okay, the full name reveals was informative.

But it's nothing that we don't already know. I don't really see the point.

No idea if Rogue was questioning Scott if he told 'em about Kitty on board or some unrevealed reason the kids might want to sue [because readers dont want a new subplot clarified with a red alert on].

Hope bosses Kitty around [because she has to win a battle of wills in her own title] but she has no hope of winning a popularity contest against Kitty. Displeasing connection to Jean Grey or not. She tries to take the path of a team leader but is just stepping on toes.

Okay, Kenji is pretty useful with his abstract power [because this new mutants team needs its own Warlock].

I guess.

Going in towards the front door another time even though it was trapped on previous attempts is a sound up front tactic [because fool me 4 times shame on me and its not like they could get help from an X-man present with Rogue setting that precident last arc].

Did not like the vague-to-the-point-of-worthlessness explanation given for why Kenji could help them get through.

Okay, Animal Boy jumping up thru thick concrete is impressive [because he didnt want to show up Logan with his strength earlier].

Was there really a reason why they just couldn't use the stairs? Yeah, Teon sure is durable: rips right through the ceiling/floor. I'm getting the feeling that the Lights are having deus ex machina powers. Whatever the plot requires they do, they can apparently do, except when the plot doesn't require it.

So Hope has to touch the mind controlling baby in the womb... hmmm... if only there was a phaser present [because Rogue taking Hope's power and

Can we say, "Eww?"

Still not on board with this whole thing.
