Seems Age of X created a bunch of "anomalies." Chamber is repowered and missing his face again. Angel Salvatore is repowered. Rachel appears to be back on the island (if that is who Revenant is; she's wearing that old Phoenix costume Rachel used to wear).

It's hard to know what the effects will be, as it seems to be just another deus ex machina for writers to use if they want to reverse a previous decision. The same can be said for Necrosha, where supposedly there were going to be lasting effects.

It's also hard to understand the logic behind AOX. It didn't just focus on people on the island, or even people close to Legion, just various X-Men associated characters. Chamber wasn't on the island, wasn't associated with Legion, yet somehow got his powers restored. Characters that died in the AOX can still be alive in the 616. Characters dead in the 616 were alive in the AOX. There apparently was a world outside the Fortress, and that world had a history.

Chamber is really the only confirmed change, and it's hard to know his future. Carey doesn't seem to be focusing on him in the future, and his cast is seemingly set. Looks like just a throwaway at this point.

Plus the psychological effects. Emma-Scott-Cargill triangle? Storm-Namor?

None. Only of the those characters is going to be in the book, and the other books simply aren't going to mention any of those relationships. Is Frenzy going to be altered significantly by the fact she was in with Cyclops? Who cares?

It's also important to remember that the characters are suppose to lose their memories of the AOX given time.

The AOX had much more interesting versions of certain characters, like Hellion and Legion. I hope the 616 versions get altered to be more like them.
