It's been some time since I read the Dark Phoenix Saga and the original X-Force comics, but, who does Scott think died on the moon? In AvX 6 Infinite, he acts as if he's talking to Jean, as if she died there. Wasn't that "Jean" something made up by the Phoenix-Force as the real Jean was recuperating in a cocoon at the bottom of Jamaica Bay? He found her alive in X-Force, right? Did I miss something? I know he thought it was Jean who died on the moon at the time, but he should be over that.
The trauma of making out with Emma at Jean's grave at the school made him forget? Messy Marvel writers? Maybe this isn't important and I just hate what Scott's become over the years. I admit I am not a fan of Cyclops.

We know that Magneto, Psylocke, and Boom Boom head to Wundagore and Namor, Sunspot, and Hepzibah go to Tabula Rasa. At that location, those three face She-Hulk, Luke Cage, and The Thing. Before Thing and Namor can destroy each other, Magik teleports in and pulls the mutants, saying they've found Hope. At the end of the issue, the X-Men are heading to the moon.)
028 Wolverine and The X-Men #11 (Synchronous with Avengers vs. X-Men #4 and Uncanny X-Men #12, but before Avx: Versus #2 because we see Gambit is still up and fighting and hasn't faced Captain America. The battles along the five locations are going strong. The center of this story surrounds Hope and Logan as they make their way towards the moon. Their ship is blown out of the sky by Shi'ar Imperium and they are forced to defend themselves. In the end, Wolverine realizes he can't kill Hope and contacts Captain America to let him know their destination.)
