Quote:...I hate the fact that there are no X-men on this cover http://i.newsarama.com/images/AVXConsequences1_02.jpg (besides Scott). The X-men were treated like second fiddles by Marvel during this whole "event," IMO.
I wouldn't say the X-men played second fiddle. Overall, it's an X-men story, specifically Cyclops' story in my opinion. Once the P5 showed both the Avengers and X-men pretty much got regulated into the background. For an event called "Avengers Vs X-men", there were very few fights between them.
I hope all the X-men don't abandon him. If I recall correctly, "Jean" killed five billion D'bari (plus the Shi'ar crew) and everyone (including me) forgave her. Hell, they fought for her. I'm actually starting to feel sympathy for Scott. I hope the writers don't let up on the "consequences," and Scott pays for what he's done, though. I hope the writers have Scott remember his talk with "Jean" on the moon.
Well, there is a big difference as "Jean" wasn't really Jean so its easier to forgive. I believe both Scott and Emma have shown up in newer promos so I'm pretty sure both will be forgiven...eventually.
