Reply Subj: Why would we WANT any of those villains "redeemed" anyway?

This subject seems to be coming up on the board an awful lot lately, and I really don't understand why. Good villains are hard to come by, and it's bad enough that Toad's become Wolverine's janitor, or Frenzy has gone from being the backbone of the Acolytes to being a D-list X-Man, without asking for even more of this stuff to happen.

> Apocalypse hasn't been redeemed. Evan, his clone, does not have that baggage. He's his own person. That is not a redemption.

Apocalypse had been somewhat changed by his merge with Cyclops, however. Remember his reluctance to unleash Pestilence on the world to decimate humanity? I think when he finally gets back from space, as well as fighting his young clone, maybe he and Scott need to be re-merged so they can be properly separated and both back to normal?

Pretty much all of the original Hellfire Club (And the other incarnations.), Magneto, the Juggernaut, the Sentinels, now Apocalypse, etc. And now we have Bishop and Cyclops as villians. The other X-Villians that are irredeemable are just TOO evil (Like Cameron Hodge or Fabian Cortez.), or waiver too much (Mystique and Sabretooth.). The Shadow King and Selene though, they'll always stay villians. Pierce as well. That's pretty much it. The Maraurders are monsters as well (And I certainly don't buy Scalphunter as being shown as anything BUT. The guy ruthlessly killed a few Morlocks.), and are great, but we never really see them.
