HA! Good job Goldballs! You basically got only 2 lines with the same lowbrow joke but they struck me as funny. Great to see you got an official costume too!
I might have found it funny if it hadn't have been a joke all along. Combinations of "ball" are just really bad for codenames.
Yes, I'm looking at you too, Butterball.
Quote:Good job Cyke! Firing Hijack was a plan all along! Nice one, it had me fooled too. Nice leadership calls this mission. (Did Scott know he was losing control of his beams? Because of AvX problems or because of the Sentinel's vibe?)
Knew there was something up with it.
Quote:Good job Magik! As debatable or disagreeable the selection and scope of her magicks are or may be this was an uncanny and amazing showing. Welcome continuity attention with her. BTW, let's get an in-story quote as to how heavy that Soulsword is.
What I found disagreeable was that she really needed Strange's tutoring. She's the Supreme Sorcerer of Limbo, gosh dernit.
We know the Soulsword is made of Promethium (Marvel variant), a "metal" found only in Limbo, and it comes from what appears to be an animal heart that is the source of Limbo, itself (removing it from Limbo causes Limbo to cease existing).
I shouldn't think the Soulsword weighs much different than one would expect a sword to weigh (3-5 lbs). Of course, I guess it would depend on what Magik wanted the sword to look like. She controls its appearance (it can look like everything from a Jedi lightsabre to a Claymore to one of those giant popcicles from Anime).
Quote:Good job Hijack! Play dumb, don't rat out the mutants! You don't know you HQ-ed in Canada? You are just playing dumb, right? Lots of characterization potential with this development. (Hey, is there much difference with him and Overdrive in Superior Foes?)
Well, Overdrive has "nano bacteria" that alter reality on a somewhat small scale, actually changing a vehicle's appearance. Hijack's power just seems like a specialized telekinesis (affecting combustion and electrical systems, primarily).
Quote:[sarcasm]Good job Daz![/sarcasm] Get pump that quality blood to serve as MGH ingredient. (Did we know X-factor blood was the source of MGH?!) Get caught and drugged but still put fear in your captor/impersonator Mystique not to mention fight thru the coma.
Yes, that was the whole point of Mutant Growth Hormone.
Quote:[sarcasm]Good job Creed![/sarcasm] Confuse us readers even more. Are you the Asian Crimelord based in Madripoor or Raven's dopey sidekick?
Would love for it to be revealed that Madripoor Creed is Raven.
Quote:Good job New Sentinel Maker! Whomever you are! (Any guesses?) You seeming hack Cerebra and bring a worthwhile mystery twist to the usual cliche Sentinels presence. And this one was tough and put the damn in mutant dampening! (Were those Evolutionaries coming out of the neck... nope, probably just the multiple mini units, right?) Congrats for getting the world hate ALL mutants again - especially since other writers have jumped the gun on that.
I'm probably wrong, but I'm still sticking with the mystery guy being Archer of the XUE. Why? Aside from the blank-looking helmet, everybody from Bishop's timeline needs to be a rat-bastard race-traitor... except the dead one, Shard.
But he'll probably be some new iteration of Bastion.
Quote:Good job with the artwork. Except once again with the action sequence choreography, some of the color choices, and the women's legs on the last 7 pages.
Eeehhh... aside from the very cool looking hologram Sentinel faces, just typical Bachalo.
City of Heroes is BACK!
