Quote:X-Men v4 012 (2014)
Quote:Not that I care much about the A-Story.
Quote:but maybe the narrator is the Arkea hive mind.
Yeah, that almost worked for me 'til this panel where she'd have been referring to herself in the 3rd person.
Quote:And her being the muscle might be why they failed. What were these ladies even thinking?
Quote:Magic. Yeah, I've got nothing. Yet her sweet Executioner is still dead.
HA! That's an excellent 'but what about' point given Amora's ambiguous whammying.
Quote:Not realy sure about any of that... especially the new body for Maddie.
At least there's some relief that it wasn't just me.
Quote:Hey, they've got all of this hovering stuff above their school doing... um... what do they do, anyway? I can accept they have eleventy jets.
Quote:Quentin needs his very own Quen-Jet.
He should totally use that line at least.
Quote:But the one I thing I loved about the B-Story is Cipher.
Good for her scoring facetime given what seems to have been a one-shot character pitch then off to limbo.
Quote:Very. But hey, Rachel is second-in-command. Woowoo. Least it's not Betsy. ;-p
Ro needs better (go to) BFF's or just to go beg Kitty to come back.
Quote:Betsy can fly (although she was being carried here).
Well maybe technically with TK but has she ever done it over a lateral distance?
Quote:That was weird. But yes, heat signatures do go through solids.
Yeah but wasn't aware she could see thru walls - too. Heat signatures thru, say, a jungle seems like it would have a lot less 'bio/mechanics' involved than thru a wall.
Quote:Amora's not much of a fighter. Things like that can be hard to judge.
Fine. Just seemed like a forced plot device for M to pull a Hulk Hogan turnaround victory.
Quote:Arrogance can be determined from body language, like a person's stance, which would be visible.
Quote:But yeah, still strange that Monet has infravision or x-ray vision. I knew she has night vision, but wasn't sure of heat vision.
Good, wasn't just me again.
Quote:Not an unheard of telepathic trick. The body hears what it's meant to think it does. She is a good telepath, too.
Fair enough. Still, it seems like it would be a finesse psi-feat yet with so many story problems may have jumped the gun on that nitpick...
Quote:Probably best that they let them go.
Disagree, but not vehemently give the priority threat of Arkea. Still with all the neverending showings of incapacitating to the extent that it often looks like kills, y'think they might've tried harder. If searching for them is not the #1 aftermath priority then the vehemence...
Quote:Uh no. She's proud for her.
After all that romance angst? Didn't think Rachel had it in her.
Quote:Really had my fill of Sentinels after Second Coming. It's like all we see anymore. Sure, it makes sense for Arkea to hack them, I guess.
Yep. (BTW, was that mist transformation for Jubirella the first time seen in-story with her?)
I miss Dad and Dan.
