Ok, first of all, I am glad Nightcrawler is back.

Ditto.

    Quote:
Missed him after he died and I really cannot wait to see his reaction to what’s happened since he died, especially the upcoming reunion with Cyclops.

And next issue with Raven. That cover is a grabber. Tea with Guido and/or Monet might be an interesting too.

    Quote:
But how he is alive is just weird.

TOO weird really. Very detracting to the welcome return. They could've done the whole sacrifice heaven thing to suffer Earth still with much less bamfalogna. Tying Xavier's fate into the mix felt poignantly disheartening and yet insanely disappointing at the same time.

    Quote:
His body was created by combining numerous Bamfs and he’s lost or sold his soul for the opportunity to return.

Colossus' return from the dead, thanks to Ord, is looking like common sense now. ;\)

    Quote:
I think we need to have Kurt visit one of Marvel’s mystics to make sure his body is just like it used to be.

Ditto. Right after Magik's mystic MRI that's always being rescheduled.

    Quote:
And we need some clarification about his soul. Is it gone? Part of the remaining Bamfs? Is someone gonna come collect it in the future? Or is this something that will be forgotten when the next writer gets their hands on Kurt.

Hopefully they dial down the weird. Still trying to process the weirdness of Longshot geneological impersonation of Philip J. Fry and Legion wiping himself out of existence but not really.

    Quote:
Also, I know there were Bamfs left in the mansion after Kurt appeared in the living world, but gotta wonder if they’ll stick around now that the portal is gone. They did seem pretty pivotal to JGS security, plus they have a teleporting range that Kurt never had himself.

Hated the Bamfs from Day 1 and that has not changed. Wonder how they got to Earth if the 'needed' the portal to get here. And the final big reveal of why they turned on Azazeal was more baffling than illuminating.

As for the rest of the X-men they weren't that Amazing at all. Even Wolverine's NATURAL healing factor it just mocked his decades of being the best there is as mutant healing. Storm looked like a dorkette. Firestar apparently wasted endoftheworld time out to braid her hair (even if it did look lovely). Bobby, Beast and Angel were bores. Rachel kept my pet peeving alive suddenly with range problems with her psi this time. Only Ava had a funny line panel and a gorgeous cheesecake panel.

Amazing X-men 5 march26

I miss Dad and Dan.

Too funny! \(lol\)
