Ok, first of all, I am glad Nightcrawler is back. Missed him after he died and I really cannot wait to see his reaction to what’s happened since he died, especially the upcoming reunion with Cyclops.

But how he is alive is just weird. His body was created by combining numerous Bamfs and he’s lost or sold his soul for the opportunity to return.

I think we need to have Kurt visit one of Marvel’s mystics to make sure his body is just like it used to be.

And we need some clarification about his soul. Is it gone? Part of the remaining Bamfs? Is someone gonna come collect it in the future? Or is this something that will be forgotten when the next writer gets their hands on Kurt.

Also, I know there were Bamfs left in the mansion after Kurt appeared in the living world, but gotta wonder if they’ll stick around now that the portal is gone. They did seem pretty pivotal to JGS security, plus they have a teleporting range that Kurt never had himself.

What is the point of adding the excess baggage to simple characters? You know everyone is coming back. Doug, Jean, Colossus, Kurt, Magik, everyone. They all come back. These characters are going to be dying and coming back long after we all die and don't come back.

Hardly any death has any real emotional impact anymore, and too often they don't have nearly enough impact on the characters themselves. I'm firmly with Erik Larsen on this one. It's almost always idiotic to kill off characters.
