Let's see... super-universal threat, Magus, capable of eating stars for breakfast and populating the planet with Phalanx and worse creates a tech startup in Texas, and NO ONE has much of a problem with that?!?!

Well if they're smart, X-factor will make a few phone calls to let their allies know about this. But honestly, it shouldn't be a surprise that they walked away, X-men do have a history of leaving bad guys alone if they're not currently doing anything bad.

Hullo? SWORD?! Avengers AI?! Adam Brashear? SHIELD? X-FACTOR?!?! Anyone with an actual brain gonna try to fix this "worse than Secret Invasion" situation?

Let's also remember that no one was really knocking on the X-men's door when Warlock originally appeared, plus the Magus also went unnoticed when it first appeared to kill Warlock.

And it can't be "worse than Secret Invasion" if the goal is not planetary takeover and one good nuke can remove the problem.

I find it hard to imagine Magus acting like this, even if his world is now lifeless.

Bigger surprise is that Magus went from a one dimensional character to a two dimensional character.

And uh... I would have figured Doug to have A LOT more than a tiny piece of Warlock in him, considering he was a shapeshifting Necroshan technozombie not too long ago. The hell?!

I would think off-panel that Warlock would try and remove the techno-matter from Doug, it'd be pretty dumb for them to ignore it after the meeting with future-Doug.

Disturbing that a guy with so much to live for, who's been given a second chance on life, has actually considered suicide.

With all of the resurrections, it'd be a surprise if at least a few of them didn't wish they'd been left to rest in peace. And Doug still thinks his second life will destroy the people he cares about most.
