Quote: I didn't buy the X-Men/Inhumans books, but I did read a good deal of it, and I know that Emma went back to being a villain at the end. I hate it, and I was dreading the day that it would happen, but I didn't think that it would (At least Morrison's mutated Beast is intact.). Emma was something of a regular mainstay in the Marvel Universe when she was an X-Man, and she became much more of a popular character. She wasn't really a hero, but she wasn't a villain anymore, and she moved on from that about two decades ago. I guess that status quo is always god, but this one stuck around for a while. I'm disappointed by it, and I see it as a HUGE slide back for Emma and the X-Universe.
I never bought her face-turn and romance with Scott, except that Morrison actually wrote Phoenix Jean, ridiculously, as manipulating them together from the future!
