It was definitely physically burning. Jean's fire has often been pyrokinetic.

Not debating that PF can't generate real fire but it can be illusionary too and, AFAIK, it just looked like Jeen (and hospital staff) did not suffer any degree burns.

Well, Jeen never would get burned. No one seemed close enough to get burned, imo.

Emma knew they needed to get out of there and upstate. She probably didn't want to contact the school, so yeah, she had to requisition a chopper.

Seemed like a weak plot device to get her out of the room when she could probably get an air traffic controller form umpteen states over to send a chopper and sit with a sandwich at the same time.

That would seem like way too much work for the same result. Keep it simple.

Looking forward to Red since Blue and Gold have been underwhelming. Maybe Emma should be an anti-hero? anti-villain?

Maybe Emma should be killing more horses. And maybe a dolphin every once in a while. \:D *rassum-frassum*

Come to think of it, with Namor being in Red, maybe Emma will be one of the villains of the story. That would be the only reason I'd want him around.

What do you mean by "no longer Stepfords?"

Wasn't Marvel trying to push the name change just a little while ago? Not that it was a good decision necessarily.

I don't recall that officially. I just don't get the significance. They still seemed pretty "Stepford" to me in this issue, finishing each other's sentences and whatnot. If anything, they're less "Cuckoo" with the different appearances.

I think they prefer Three-In-One, anyways. \:\)

"B" would probably be as close to the old school site as possible. The mansion was outside of Salem Center, somewhere.

The only reason to go there was for it's location. Xavier owned quite a bit of land. Somewhere near that property, I'm thinking. She says, "Close enough."

I wouldn't think it would be that close to NYC. It's still very urban/suburban for a while, with White Plains and all that.
