Personally I don't think Jean should have to suffer stories where she has to interact with Rachel, Hope or Teen Jean.

Yet the only way JeAn will ever interest me is if she interacts with the characters she would naturally, under any sort of normal human emotions, interact with. That includes Cable. It's not a question of her finding herself. It's a question of her behaving like any normal human being with a heart would behave. Right now she isn't searching for herself. She's running away from herself. She has a daughter, a son, a granddaughter, and a strange younger self who could only exist in comic books but who nevertheless exists in her reality - and she's ignoring them all, to the extent she knows about them. This is not how a human with a heart behaves. Why should I care about her? She's some weird alien anti-human.

Yes. I would also include Cable as a character she should never be forced to interact with. No past selves. No reincarnations. No children from the future. No alternate timeline doppelgangers. No clones. No robots. No cosmic beings.

Just good wholesome people and the occasional mass murdering villain.
