Up and running, right away. That's good and right, how they don't skip a beat. Good cover - however totally laughable that Scott's using holo-files while in the story the best tech he's got is pencil and paper.

Yeah. And I really want to address this. I get that Rosenberg wants to portray the X-Men as being "down and out," but c'mon, there are resources they should have. Muir Island? Heck, Rahne should own the place. Cable? Surely he can help with a base. That huge underground complex outside of San Fran? Whatever happened to that? In a pinch, there's even always Genosha. What's become of all of the various multinationals the X-Men own? Even Rogue and Gambit own multiple homes down south. It amazes me that Logan doesn't have stashes around the world after his 150 year life. "Best there is" my buttocks.

It's nice to hear mention of Harry and his Hideout, but there are better places.

This list of uncreatively recyclable bad teams is a recurring problem with the X-books. Are NONE of these groups shut down at this time by Scott's POV? Sheesh. [sarcasm] Good job, X-men.[/sarcasm]

Oooooh, that's DARK Beast on the cover. Still alive, eh. Damn. Hence he made the Threat List.

Well, yeah, he's still alive. He just appeared not long ago.

Why is Magneto, Apocalypse, Omega Red, and Legion on the Threat List? Scott knows they're gone, right?

I think Scott is just thinking generally, and the list is trying to be all-inclusive. As far as Scott knows, all of these people are out there, just as the X-Men are out there somewhere.

Why are The New Mutants on the list and if a "good-team" is on the Threat List to be dealt with then why not Kid Cable's X-Force or Emma's Hellfire Club? Six-Eyes Girl is M.I.A. already and a noted story point. Maybe she should be on the list too since the X-men lost her. Sheesh. [sarcasm] Good job, X-men.[/sarcasm]

Posters at XMB will tell me which of the teams should not be there. Obviously Weapon X-Force was properly left off the list.

Why is The Savage Land there?

I think Laroca forgot to put "Mutates."

Scott thinks Krakoa and Vulcan is still alive? Huh.

Krakoa should be.
I think Vulcan is just a potentiality.

Should Warlock be on the list? Callahan and O*N*E*?

ONE? Yes. Magus!! Not Warlock. Last anybody knew, Magus was chillin' on Earth running a multinational.

And this reminds me: where is Serval in all of this mess?

Who else is Scott clearly missing on his X-Centric list??

I would certainly list the following before Mutant Force/Resistants:

That whole ring of villains who were in Second Coming. Bastion? Any Trasks? Sapien League? Etc.
Mystique? Maybe she's included in the "Brotherhood?" Is Hollywood telling Scott he can't think of her as a threat?
Maybe Phoenix should be on the list?
Hellfire? Maybe a mental block (figurative, not literal) where Emma's concerned? \:D
Maddie Pryor?
Arcade? Or has he wormed his way out of X-Dom at this point?
Reavers? Pierce?
Mesmero? Recent threat!
Monolith? Yes, I'm reaching now, but I'd like him to come back.
X-Cutioner!! There's even a new one that was a recent threat.

Upstarts are a current threat?! HUH?! The Upstarts were only part of that silly game that ended. They're all dead last everybody knew. Well, Fenris are back, but mostly as non-X-villains, and not part of Upstarts.

The Neo were supposedly completely wiped out by the Evolutionaries almost 10 years ago. Does Scott have brain damage?

Is there a new Factor Three we haven't been told of yet? Because the old one has been gone for ages. Please tell me this is not what Banshee/Sean is up to.

Gene Nation is another group that should be gone already. I guess there could always be more crawling out from rocks, but all of the main ones were killed. Why? Because they were all losers.

They're chaining the supervillain in a basement?! Sheesh. [sarcasm] Good job, X-men.[/sarcasm] On the plus side, the team is 1 for 1 after 1 mission to deal with the Threat List.

Good thing they pulled together their zero resources enough buy a good superstrength chain.

So. Karma and Moonstar transmode condition was not examined at all. \:\( It appears their abilities are unchanged (well, Dani's for sure) - is that how transmode works?

I don't think they have the means to examine their condition. They don't have the tech or the personal expertise. Half of these people never even went to college.

So. The dupes out there and Jaime's personal life is not examined at all. \:\( It appears a dupe can die a religious experience - so last issue Logan killed Strong Guy (not addressed) and this ish Havok killed a Jaime Dupe. Sheesh. [sarcasm] Good job, X-men.[/sarcasm] Of course to spare the dupe pain and Alex the moral conundrum Jaime absorbed the dupe in death and can't bring him back - is that how duping works?

So. Dark Beast WAS dead but was brought back to life with more powers than he had before. Now he's more unkillable than before. Damn.

Dark Beast hasn't been dead in a while. His upgrades are just meh, imo. As if we need another cyber villain. I do sort of question DB's idea that tech is better evolution than biology. The very fact that it cannot be predicted or controlled is what makes it better. He should know this. It should be his life philosophy. On the other hand, in comics, tech is just as unpredictable and uncontrollable. So, what's he stupidly babbling about?

And why would Sinister be in the cybernetics field to upgrade him this way? Feh. I sort of suspect DB is lying. Could he be in league with the human establishment?

So. Magik came up with a new trick. She apparently channelled the supervillain Spot and threw her Soulsword somehow thru time and space to stab DB in the back. Non-lethally pierces DB with it - didn't even knock him out like a psi-sword strike. Then Jaime picks it up, and it works for him, and he tries to lethally stab with it. Huh - is that how Magik works?

Neat use of her stepping discs.

Remind me how Alex got his face fixed?

Dr. Plot, Plastic Surgeon!

What about Moonstar ? I'm a bit confused here because :

She seem to use her lost mutant power since M-day for the 1st time, but how ?

How can she be trapped inside Age Of X-Man since she wasn't among the mutant assembled against X-Man ?

Same question about Shard, who seems to be more like Bishop's wish in AOX-Man.

Still don't understand why The New Mutants are listed as a threat when there's 4 members in the new X-Men team ? (Cannonball, Boom Boom are safe in X-Force, and Magma and Cypher in the alternate dimension)

How Boom Boom and Rictor have been on their own separate way after what happened to their teammates in the last issue of Dead souls ?

Wasn't Tran who was in control of Karma's body on the last panel ?
