Quote:Stryfe, the "REAL McCOY"?
Just not a fan. To me, he's the single worst part of everything Cable-related. I really can't wait for his story to be over.
Quote:Rachel, the brainsponged, saintly "MOTHER ASKANI(!)"?
Very sad to see Rachel like this, but I'm hopeful. I find it very disgusting to see such a strong character (since early-Excalibur) turned into a victim after just getting through a victim story (X-Men Gold).
Quote:Deathlok, the temporal deusexmachina? (Actually, it really pleases me that it took him a month to get an untested prototype working for a one-charge deal only. IT SHOULD BE THIS HARD to Time Travel for the most part - especially if you don't want to skip over to Latveria and wheel & deal or steal Doom's platform.)
Yeah. For this group, especially, I'd say a month was stretching credulity. The problem-- my problem-- with this is that it drags the story down.
Cable's a different story. Time travel is part of his innate abilities. He's literally a flesh and blood time platform. X-Man does this, as well.
Quote:Domino, the double-timing leader?
She's being done much better in Hotshots, imo.
Quote:Boom Boom, the human battery charger?
I guess the machine is capable of transforming kinetic energy into electrical energy. Otherwise, we could find a way to charge our iPhones with fireworks.
Quote:This, the grabworthy but UNFAIRLY premature cover image? However this group shot by Pepe Larraz was better than any group shot inside but then again he only drew one page where Dylan Burnett drew 20 pages inside, eh? But IMO both will need much more finesse for the title to endure.
City of Heroes is BACK!
